Get ready to dig in, crawl around, and explore the fascinating tiny world of bugs! In this hands-on class, students become junior entomologists as they investigate the amazing lives of insects, spiders, worms, and other creepy crawlers. Through observation, discussion, and creative exploration, students will discover that these small creatures play a big role in our world. Each week, we will focus on a different bug or group of bugs and learn how they eat, move, build homes, and survive in their environments. Students will explore how bugs help the Earth through pollination, decomposition, and maintaining healthy ecosystems. Learning is brought to life with interactive activities, crafts, games, and simple experiments designed to spark curiosity and encourage scientific thinking. By the end of the class, students will have a new appreciation for these tiny creatures and the big impact they have on the world around us.
