About Us

We believe children are whole persons—created in the image of God and capable of deep thought, meaningful relationships, and a lifelong love of learning. Our approach honors childhood through a rich, gentle education that nurtures the heart, mind, and character.
Our classrooms are intentional and relational, filled with conversation, exploration, and purposeful activity. Learning is grounded in excellent books, hands-on discovery, creative work, and specific enrichment time—inviting curiosity, attention, and wonder. We guide children in forming good habits and self-discipline through consistent rhythms and meaningful work, while fully embracing the natural energy, movement, and joy of childhood.
Faith is woven naturally into our days as we partner closely with families to help children grow in wisdom, virtue, and confidence in their God-given gifts. With small class sizes and devoted teachers, we create an environment where children feel known, loved, and encouraged to flourish—academically, spiritually, and emotionally.
Mission

Our mission is to partner with families to provide a Christ-centered education that nurtures joyful, meaningful learning, forms strong character and thoughtful habits, and awakens curiosity and wonder—honoring each child as a whole person made in the image of God.

Let your roots grow down into Him, and let your lives be built on Him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness
(Colossians 2:7 NLT)

Our Roots
My vision for this school began way back when my son was in his early elementary years. He was having “difficulties” learning to read, despite all our best efforts to help him. By public-school standards—and, honestly, most societal ones—he was behind. In his own mind, he felt stupid. In my mommy heart, I knew “stupid” was far from the truth. His 7-year-old brain was alive with imagination and eager to drink in new things that captured his interest. I knew his brain just worked differently, and that he would learn to read in his own time, at his own pace.

We spent countless nights slogging through hours of homework beyond his ability—even in math, a subject he excelled in—because so much depended on reading. I watched my bright, imaginative, happy boy being slowly squashed, confined to a box measured by standards not of his Great Creator’s making.

It was through his struggles that the tiny seed of an idea was planted—a seed that stayed buried for years, only to germinate unexpectedly as I watched the chaos of COVID unfold, now from the perspective of a teacher rather than a parent. My son was due to graduate in the midst of COVID restrictions. He survived the squashing, but with definite scars.

The journey to where we are now has been long and winding, a journey of faith that has stretched and refined me along the way. Now, I feel the fullness of the vision springing forth. Pieces are falling into place. Strategies are becoming clear. I step into 2026 joyfully, with a clear sense of where we are going and the surety that God will faithfully guide us as we continue to seek His face.

Habakkuk 2:3 (KJV)
For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry
