Does Our Program Speak
to Your Heart?

See our program options below!

Deuteronomy 6:6-7

(6) These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. (7) Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.

God wants us to teach our children about Him all day long - include Him in every aspect of our lives. But how can we do this when we work full time and our children are without us 35 hours (or more!) out of the week? Moreover, we are called to make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:19-20), with our children being our most important disciples. Webster's dictionary defines a disciple as "a pupil or follower of any teacher or school." With our busy schedules, the public schools become said "teacher or school", and our children disciples therein. It is made clear in the bible that this is not God's plan for our children. This is where our children's ministry program comes in. We infuse our faith into every aspect of our day, from the beginning of our day and throughout each of our subjects, your child is learning about the "praiseworthy deeds of the Lord, His Power and the wonders He has done...[so that] they may set their hope in God, And not forget the works of God, But keep his commandments" (Psalm 78:4,7). Our program  approaches learning from a biblical view, making God's word central to learning. Through learning, we will build on your child's foundation of faith, helping to grow it from grasshopper to giant slayer.

Character Development

In Proverbs 22:6, we are instructed to “train up a child in the way they should go, and when they are old they will not depart from it.” The Hebrew word for “train” can also be translated as to dedicate, reminding us that we are to dedicate our children to the Lord and the purposes He has laid out for them by guiding the development of their morals and character as they grow. This training is meant to be carried out with grace and compassion, reflecting God’s love in every interaction.

At our school, this principle shapes how we guide children’s behavior. Instead of focusing on mistakes or missteps, we intentionally notice and reinforce positive choices, helping children practice habits like attention, kindness, responsibility, and self-control in a supportive and loving environment.

Our teachers model Christlike character, provide clear, age-appropriate expectations, and cultivate joyful, engaging learning, so that children are motivated to grow both academically and spiritually.

By partnering with families in this process, we aim to equip children not just to succeed in school, but to develop the character, habits, and faith that will guide them throughout life.

Bible Integration

At Faith Mountain Academy, we see the Bible as central to our students’ growth—not just academically, but spiritually and personally. We treat Scripture as a living text that shapes the mind and heart. Rather than compartmentalizing Bible time, we weave it naturally throughout the day in ways that are meaningful and engaging for each child.

  • Morning Devotions & Scripture Reading: Each day begins with a short reading from God’s Word. Children are invited to listen, reflect, and narrate back what they heard—helping them internalize and respond thoughtfully to the stories and teachings.

  • Character Lessons Through Story & Example: Bible stories and principles are integrated into discussions, literature, and daily interactions, helping children connect Scripture with their own actions, choices, and relationships.

  • Prayer & Reflection: We provide intentional moments for prayer, gratitude, and reflection, encouraging children to talk with God in their own words.

  • Integration Across Subjects: Biblical themes are subtly incorporated across lessons—whether in history, science, or the arts—so students see God’s handiwork in all creation and understand that faith informs every part of life.

  • Living the Word: Children are guided to apply biblical principles through habits, responsibilities, and service—linking knowledge with action, thought with character.

In short, the Bible isn’t a separate “subject” here; it’s the lens through which we explore all of life, learning, and relationships. We aim to nurture children who not only know God’s Word but also love it, live it, and see it reflected in the world around them.

Education Goals

Our main objective is the recognize the Bible as the foundation of all truth. In this way, your children are brought up to know and to serve God. Through this foundation, we want to encourage core values, teach important life skills, model healthy relationships, and nurture children to think critically, to pursue truth, and to love learning.

Through this lens, we incorporate rich, living ideas, meaningful experiences, and opportunities for exploration to guide children toward becoming confident, compassionate, and capable individuals who see learning as a joyful journey.

Our Programs

Early Explorers | (age 4 only)

Time: 9:00 - 11:45

Our Pre-K program is designed with the unique needs of young children in mind. Rather than a full-day schedule, we offer a thoughtfully paced program that balances engaging learning experiences and creative play. Through stories, hands-on exploration, and creative experiences, children develop curiosity, joy, and a love of learning. Each child is nurtured as a whole person—mind, heart, and spirit—building a strong foundation for confidence, character, and a growing sense of identity in Christ. This is a place where little learners can flourish at a pace that is just right for them.

Kindergarten - 12th Grade

Time: 8:30 - 2:30  |  Full Time (5 days/week)  or  Hybrid (3 days/week)

At Faith Mountain Academy, our K–12 program provides a Christ-centered education that nurtures each child at every stage of development.

In the early grades, students explore the world through hands-on learning, stories, and creative play, building curiosity, joy, and a love of learning. As they progress through elementary, they engage with more complex ideas, develop critical thinking skills, and cultivate character, creativity, and thoughtful habits.

Middle and high school students are challenged to think deeply, collaborate, and apply knowledge to real-world situations, while growing in leadership, independence, and a strong sense of purpose. Across all grades, our goal is to guide children in discovering their unique gifts, engaging with God’s creation, and forming a vibrant faith and identity in Christ within a supportive and nurturing community.
